Update on meh life

So much going on, so much to say.

First....I love all of you, all of my friends and family that have stuck by my side and continue to support me, my heart is filled because of you.
I have been on my chemo for one full week now.  The first few days were not so bad, today I just took my chemo so I have about an hour le-way to write you this.  I start getting extremely dizzy and nauseate.  Sleep is my best friend!
To change the subject.....we had our home burglarized in January and recovered from it.  Well, yesterday morning my 12 yr old was going out getting ready to go to school (her best friends mom takes her every day) and she noticed her daddy's window broken out in his truck.  Awful.  I wish she didn't have to see that.  The feeling of not being safe in your own home is the worst feeling.  I hate that she had to see that.  We are coping.  We found out that over a dozen vehicles were in in our neighborhood.  Sad little thugs can't get a job so they steal from hard-working Americans.....So sadly we are moving forward and extra security at the house, once again.

Thank you again friends!  I have five more weeks of hell, but I am looking forward to whipping this thing in the ass more than ever!  I am strong and not giving up!
Love you, will write later!

  1. I think you are the most amazing person ever! Who cares what anyones says, what anyone thinks (late commenting on your other blogs)- you do things how YOU choose. You have never been someone that colors inside the lines - You draw your shit from scratch!! This is YOUR life and you get to LIVE it how you want. I have made up my mind that I WILL make a trip to Texas to see you!!

As for the degenerates that bust windows and steal things - they better hope the police find them before those hard working Americans do! It might actually do the vermin some good to have that "come to Jesus" meeting with the people they violated!

I love you, miss you and sooooo wish I could be there with you!!! Please give me a buzz if you need ANYTHING!!!!

  2. Rachel, I am very moved to hear about how strong you are through this. My mother (49 yrs old) was just diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma on April 13th following a hysterectomy. She just had her PET/CT scan and got her results this week. Things look good in her pelvic area, but she has to go back in today for a CT scan of her lungs. They saw two spots that they want to look at more closely. We are HOPING that they are just from previous respiratory infections, which the doctor said is not uncommon. My mom has been seeing a Gynocologist for her cancer (it was uterine) but I really wonder if she should be seeing a Sarcoma specialist. It really worries me. Anyhow, I am hoping the best for you and sending positive thoughts your way as you battle this horrible disease. If you want to contact me you can email me ashleynflowers@gmail.com. I'd love to keep in touch with you, and maybe get you and my mother in touch. She is like you, a picture of health, and this is the last thing we ever expected.
